Our goal is to increase participation from parents, alumni and friends. Every gift, regardless of size, makes a difference. When one gift to the annual fund is combined with hundreds of others, the impact is significant. Your single contribution, regardless of size, has the power to influence the educational experience of over 1,000 students at Maryknoll School. That is the power of participation.
High participation is a vote of confidence, an important sign that our parents, alumni, faculty and friends invest in our children and support the school’s mission. This increased participation percentage can also have an impact on gifts from outside sources; most foundations consider participation rates before donating to a school.
The Annual Fund supports every area of our school and is an investment in our students, teachers, and programs. Every donation supports our mission of educating 21st century learners and leaders, allowing our students to experience and achieve more.
Every gift is an investment in our students and their hopes and dreams for the future. Our students thrive and succeed because of the generosity of so many.
Your gifts go to discovery labs and interactive projectors, art supplies and band equipment, robotics and science lab equipment, sports programs and equipment, the Chinese Immersion program in our Grade School, as well as iPads and microscopes. Your funding also supports innovative programs such as Project Lead the Way, which helps students who struggle within a traditional school setting. Students also benefit from competitive physical training and athletics programs, extra-curricular programs, and campus ministry. Through your gifts, you are part of our mission and part of all that our students achieve.
Your donation towards the Annual Fund is immediately put to use to spark:
Innovation. Creating innovative classrooms and programs to ensure academic excellence for all students.
Learning opportunities. Providing professional development opportunities for our faculty to continue to improve the exceptional learning environments for our students.
A strong Noblesse Oblige community. Supporting outstanding extended learning programs, student groups and sports clubs to promote a well-rounded student education.
The Annual Fund also assures:
Small class sizes
Innovative learning opportunities
A substantive Pre-K to 12 physical education and athletic program
