Katie MacNeil

Member, Master Plan Committee Chair
Architect Katie MacNeil is a Principal of G70.  Katie is a licensed architect with more than 30 years of experience in planning and architecture work in Hawai‘i and New York.  Her design work involves master planning, architecture, and interior architecture. Her architectural works have spanned multiple project types including healthcare, hospitality, education, housing, worship, performing arts, recreation, and historic preservation; her master planning projects include educational, healthcare and residential plans. She is a passionate proponent for a built environment that delights, one that serves the community and the environment.  She is a LEED accredited professional. Her signature projects include The Salvation Army Kroc Community Center in Kapolei, Wailea Beach Marriott, Girl Scouts Hawaii STEM Center, and the Hawaii State Hospital New Patient Facility.
Ms. MacNeil is a graduate of University of Notre Dame; upon graduation she returned to her home state and joined the New York City based firm, The Liebman Melting Partnership. Katie moved to Hawaii in 2000 and has been with G70 since, becoming principal of the firm in 2008.  Currently, she serves as the firm’s corporate secretary. 
Katie’s commitment to community service is evidenced by her longstanding involvement as a member with the Historic Hawaii Foundation since 2004, having served a six year board term and as President of the Board in 2007. Active in the AIA, Katie is a former Honolulu board member and Past-President of the State Council.  She is currently serving on the Hawaii Architectural Foundation board.
